Oracle North American Consulting (NAC) works with our customers to help develop and execute Oracle technology based business solutions. This individual contributor position is expected to work effectively with Oracle License Regional Managers and Sales Reps, OC Regional Geography Leads and senior level client executives covering all industries as a 'trusted advisor' on Oracle solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

Selling consulting professional services around Oracle solutions such as Oracle ERP (Oracle Apps) including Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP or PeopleSoft.

This is a pure play, consulting professional services role. Rainmakers only need apply. We supply the umbrellas!

The selected candidate will be assigned a targeted account type, a geographic territory, pipeline targets and a bookings quota for the market.

In addition to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) associated with the earlier responsibilities, the selected candidate will be expected to meet key proactive metrics for driving solutions sales and increasing pipeline.

This is a senior level role, comparable to a seasoned Sr. Manager/Associate Partner in the big five model.

Key success factors include the ability to excel in the following:
- Forge strong working relationship with the License Sales Regional Manager and Technology Account Managers associated with the technology and geographic footprint.
- Co-plan and execute opportunity sales plan with License Sales.
- Identify/Develop key partner strategies for specific market segments.
- Provide high content contribution to joint license and consulting opportunities and named Oracle install accounts, around technology solution areas identified above.
- Communicate very effectively at all client levels, including CxO.
- Quickly grasp client requirements and fit NAC solutions around those specific needs.
- Build strong working relationships with leadership of OC Demand organization.
- Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close.
- Proactively approach the market segment.
- Ability to work well in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to add industry specific expertise to the sales process.
- Understand and have experienced the management of quota attainment

Preferred knowledge/skill areas:

- 5+ years experience selling ERP services (Oracle preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years experience working in a direct field Sales role for solutions consulting organization
- Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales, minimum $3-$5M in sales per year over past 3+ years
- BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus
- Desirable backgrounds include experience in Big Five, Oracle Consulting, and/or large systems integration firms such as EDS and IBM
- Ability to travel defined geography as needed
